Here we go again.... You notice the difference...... Rondo!!! He's in the game = ball sticking, poor offense, bad team NO = great defense and offense. Smh

Not sure why this is surprising me , but it is.

I thought tonight looked different.

I just thought to myself, Why would this game be different?

  • Rondo = Good
Is it a bad sign that I'm actually starting to dislike this team? (of course it is)

I can't help but dislike a team that consistently plays like this in the third quarter of each game.  This isn't age, this isn't injuries, this isn't being outmatched.  This is just a team playing with no focus, no composure, no trust in one another.

I don't like a team like that.

Aren't New Orleans one of the worst rebounding teams in the league?
Yes, they're the fifth worst with a rebounding differential of -3.0.

I no longer have any faith in this team to win a "winnable game"

No loss is surprising to me anymore,  no blown lead is surprising.

Time to break up this team to save the future.

It's like when your so frustrated all you can do is laugh.

Sigh. A double digit lead is more like a 1 point game these days. So suddenly does the lead turn into a deficit.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Well, let's hope our 2nd unit makes a run in the 4th and gets the win because a loss would be embarrassing, to say the least.

Does this team EVER get an offensive rebound, or even try to get one? Another third quarter special of poor offensive execution and mostly lazy defense. Not bad though compared to Sunday, as they were only outscored by 17 in the third quarter tonight. Thank God it is only February.

Where are the excuses tonight for this effort???

It's so disheartening to watch this team come out night after night and appear to give up in the 3rd quarter of games.  They don't even look like they care in any way.

Morris Peterson with 10 rebounds????  That says it all.

A 12 point halftime lead which is now a 5 point deficit.  Putrid effort once again.   The C's aren't trying on defense, can barely hit the rim on free throws and just going through the motions.

Something MAJOR has to change and that becomes painfully obvious with each successive horrid effort by this team...
