Rondo can't do it alone. What is wrong with the big3? They need to step it up. Rondo is literally a one man team. Ray sucks. KG can't move. Pierce is slower than a snail.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I don't think isolating three of our starters, after Perk is already upset, is the best way to improve our chemistry and energy.

Pierce and Garnett are still coming back from injuries.

Ray Allen? Ray is what he is. Unfortunately.

first stop lookin at this team as the big 3...the big three cant take on a team by itself...

pierce and garnett are in their early to mid thirtys and have played countless number of minutes over the years. Take into acount that both are recovering from injurys and that Ray couldn't throw a rock in the ocean and there's your problem with the big three.

But blaming our struggles primarily on the big three is just silly. UBUNTU is not about three star players, it's about the whole team coming together as one and that is our problem. Rasheeds laziness and cocky attitude is rubbing off on everyone and we depend on rondo WAAAYY too much.

Injuries and the time it takes to recover when your +30. Good thing its a marathon and not a sprint. I still like our chances.

The big three are old. The rest of the team is not good enough to compete for a championship. It's time for Danny to start lining up the ducks for the future, because the present has passed this team by. Can't beat good teams. It has been the same story all year -- with Garnett or without Garnett.

Right now if we look at our current health, we are in trouble. WE can still be very competitive if everyone is healthy but who knows. I mean, if you say each player who has been injured, KG, Paul, Marquis, and BBD each have say a 50/50 chance of being healthy then that equates to this. 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 and that works out to a 1 in 16 chance that our entire squad is in a good position to compete for a title. Now, that stat is very top heavy because KG and Paul are much more important to the team then are Marquis and BBD but KG is probably the least likely to get healthy so maybe those odds migth be close?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Ray Allen is a 34 year old shooting guard. He can't consistently hit the 3 because he's not getting the same lift he once did. He is still an effective score against most teams, but a good defensive team can neutralize him pretty easily.

Pierce is just another year older. He's a little bit slower and can't play big minutes without losing his effectiveness down the stretch. He can't take over games as often or as effectively as he once could. If we were playing better team ball no one would notice.

Garnett's knee isn't right. It's either not completely healed, healed but not yet strong enough, or healed but not going to improve the way we'd like it to. If it's anything other than not yet strong enough this season is a lost cause.
