I didn't know who was on your team.
Washington Bullets (Evantime34)-
Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, Vince Carter, Andrei Kirilenko, Tyson Chandler
That's an excellent team -- well depending on how one views Tyson Chandler's injury problems ... if we assume Chandler can get back to his previous level of play, then it's a title contender. If we assume Chandler is what he is, or can only get somewhat better, then it's a very good team that is a notch below a contender.
Andrei Kirilenko at power forward is an excellent weapon. Himself and Tyson Chandler give the squad a very good backbone defensively and will be capable of altering a huge number of shots around the rim. Excellent in transition too. AK spaces the floor well for a power forward and has good quickness/skill (handle/passing/driving) advantages at the four. Ginobili and Nash will be one of the best, if not the best, backcourt in the league. That foursome could be the core to a Championship contender if Tyson gets back to his usual self.
Not wild about the Vince Carter choice. Two reasons (1) his lousy form this season is worrying (2) I think the team has enough players who like to have the ball in their hands creating plays with Nash, Ginobili and Kirilenko.
The team might be better off with a good defender + spot up shooter at the three. Create a bit more balance. Oh actually, you could just switch Ginobili or Vince to the sixth man role and start the defender/shooter in their place. That would work very well. That's a better option.
