I wouldn't be surprised to see Wade leave Miami. How many more 30 13 5 games with a loss does he have to have before he gets sick of the Miami beaches/nightlife? On second thought...it's frigid out there right now.

I truly believe he and Lebron have a plan.  :'(

Glad to see the C's hold on and pull out a much needed win at home.

They really played hard tonight and were energetic and hustling.

There are obviously still serious issues though with this team ---  the C's once again couldn't build on a nice lead and close out the game earlier.  They aren't hitting free throws consistently and just can't finish teams off.  The killer instinct needs to resurface here soon.

Celtics scored 100 points tonight for the first time in 9 games!!!  Of course this team is better with Paul Pierce BUT it is interesting that the first game they score over 100 in 2 weeks is when Pierce is out of the lineup.  It illustrates how the C's have better ball movement and Rondo is more in control instead of just dumping the ball to Pierce and standing around watching.

I don't think this play by play guy is ready for the bigtime and having Hubie Brown as his color guy.

Me and my buddy joke that every college game we ever watch has Dave Pasch as the pbp guy. We're convinced he has a teleporter.
Didn't know they also threw him on NBA games. Seemed to be a middle of the road bias guy and I respect that.

Glad Tony has been able to help. Hope he continues to get minutes even when Daniels returns.

TP

I waited until the game was good and done to give you your TP. Had to make sure Jermaine didn't hit a clutch shot. Glad to give number 500.

I want three things to happen tonight. I want to get to 4000 posts, I want to get to 500 TPs, and most importantly, I want a Celtic victory. :)

I can go to bed with a big smile on my face tonight. Thanks for an enjoyable game. Goodnight, you princes of Maine… you kings of New England. :)

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Only saw the 2nd half, but I was impressed with the defensive intensity.  Tony's steal on Wade was exactly the kind of play the Celtics need to turn it up a notch.

KG looking a lot like he did early in the season--clearly there's rust but he's getting stronger with each game it seems.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."
