Why can't we get players like Joe Johnson?

HE was drafted by us! one of the franchises biggest mistake to trade him.

I hate the the C's play good sound defense and unselfish offense, netting 3 straight makeable looks, while JJ isolates the heck out of the ball and takes contested shots and the Hawks manage to go on a 7-0 run.  Basketball gods, where are you?

Why can't we get players like Joe Johnson?

We had him, we trade him for Tony Delk and Rodney Rodgers

lol I know I was being ironic.

Celtics inexplicably went away from going inside and instead have settled for outside jumpers this entire quarter.  No explanation for a change in philosophy to go away from what was so clearly working!

Then DOC leaves in a lineup that can't score or stop Joe Johnson and all of a sudden the lead is back to 8 that quickly.  Terrible start to the quarter couldn't possibly have come out any worse to start the 4th quarter.

STOP SHOOTING JUMPERS

Joe Johnson doesn't do this in the fourth quarter to anybody else...

Yep, he chokes against every team in the 4th... except for us. Mind boggling and frustrating.

the hawks play us like it is the nba finals. no shock there. if they win this game, they may hang a banner in that putrid arena of theirs. one of the many reasons atlanta is hands down the worst sports town in the country.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Why do you call a timeout Mike Woodson? The game isn't enough boring and interrupted for your taste?

So far another disastrous fourth quarter -- C's 2-9 from the floor and not taking good shots. I hope this is not going to be another almost win that I am going to try and pretend I am happy about.

Pierce then comes down and shoots a fadeaway 18 footer instead of going to the basket.  I believe the C's have not drawn one foul on the Hawks this quarter!  It's mind boggling to see them go the exact opposite route of what got them back in the game.
