CBS says this slide show has 12 different well respected mocks. I haven't tried it yet

Tebow has reportedly been invited to a private workout with the Pats.

Could be an interesting 2nd round pick...

Well this is just great. I had a gay dream about Tim Tebow last night. Kinda takes man-crush to a whole new level doesn't it?

Well nothing I say about him can be seen as impartial now.

I mean I work in a small office with three hot chicks and have a Euro wife and who do I dream about?

Not that there's anything wrong with that. It happens about once every other year, although this is the first celeb.

Just great. I was just going to write a big thing about him too.

I still think he's a good prospect. I don't care what anyone says.

So last night I dreamed Armanti Edwards the Appalachian St Qb that beat U Mich was the new Pats qb and was pretty good.

I also dreamed I made a last second game winning 3 point shot and then got a harrassing call from Jason Kidd so I turned the phone on speaker for the team to hear.

I kinda like Armanti Edwards.

Holy moly that's a lot of compensatory picks

Keep in mind Brady was a comp at 199.

Also they did better in the 6th and 7th rnds last year (long snapper for a decade, Julian Edelmen, Myron Pryor) than they did early in the draft

I've been waiting to find out about the picks.  TP, thanks for the link.
It is great to have so many picks in such a deep draft (yep, the Genius strikes again).

With this deluge of compensatory picks, I wouldn't be entirely shocked to see the Pats move some of their other (non-compensatory) picks for future years.  Compensatory picks can't be traded so they'd be taken on a lot of rookies although its tough to imagine the chances of any 6th or 7th rounders making this team as very good.

I agree its a deep draft but I'm willing to be that Belichick will do what he usually does and move around and acquire future assets also.

I agree with the point made here. Belichek has said so many very good things about Tebow that it's pretty certain he won't take him.

He's probably just trying to help out his buddy Urban Myer who gives him some inside info

I think in all the years the only guys the Pats took that didn't surprise me was maybe Pat chung and Darius butler (positions of need...read some good things) and Wilfork, but only cause he had slipped at a pretty important position

The more he talks up Tebow the more I am convinced he takes the kid, Ryan Matthews out of Fresno State.

People can talk up Tebow all they want.  I still don't think he'll be a good QB in the NFL.

Someone's going to take a flyer on the kid early and I just hope its not the Pats.

I think Tebow would be a solid 2nd round pick preferably our last 2nd. Here are my arguments:

1. Intangibles, has anyone seen the speach after they lost where he said no one would work harder than his team? Well usually a speech like that is just talk but he backed it up with play, meaning he was able to inspire his whole team.

2. Biggest problem with the Pats offense last season: predictability. Tebow would come in right away and run some Wildcat that would allow the offense to show different looks.

3. Tom Brady won't be around forever. I believe Tebow's work ethic will prevent him from failing. I think it might take 3 years but he eventually will become a very good pro qb.

4. He can play some tight end, some h back and some fullback right now while he is being groomed to be the next qb.

While I have talked myself into Tebow I think our needs are WR,OLB,3-4 DE first so if it's getting a good player at one of those positions or Tebow you have to fill the need.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I saw Mel K talking bout Colt McCoy's pro day workout last week. He said QBs usually don't help themselves much with these things, but Colt definitely did. Apparently he hit on all his passes 100% without a drop.

I saw some video. His arm looks like it was never hurt. He did the same thing as Tebow working out in the cutoff shirt and his arms looked like guns. They were like 2/3rds the size of Tim's which is huge.

I do not see the wisdom of giving Bradford $20 mill guaranteed, when you can keep the pick, take Suh, and still get Colt.

Why are you even posting about the NFL Draft right after a Celtics game?

The NFL draft is a major event. A Celts game isn't. Besides. If the Celts have decided they don't have to give full effort every game, then I've decided I don't have to pay attention to them every game.

You have your right to your opinion but I for one think the Celtics are giving they're all they are just up there in age.  You should be a fan though through in and through out, through the good and bad not just half way.

And yes the draft is important, but now is not the proper time to be posting about it right after a tough Celtics loss in my opinion.
