Must be a reverse bias

Ever listen to a good song on the radio and love it but then you hear it so often that you end up hating it

That's what happened to Orlando

The "sim" kept hearing how great Orlando was so much it got to hate the team and put the fix in to make sure it got a bad record

 ;) :D ;D

You cant say the sims entirely ignores defense. My spurs have to be doing pretty well based off their defense since it is a defensive minded team any way you slice it.

a team of howard, artest, miller. shard (the cs killer) and rip freaking hamilton are one of the worst records in the league
If they at least put the with a winning record i think i can accept it and move on but the exersise as valid and thankfulled is as unusefull

As I was creating all the roster "write-ups" your team was definitely one of my favorites, and it doesn't surprise me that you're one of the best. I think some of us at the bottom of the draft order had such a strong core that it was kind of hard to go wrong. It sort of demonstrates the main principle of this game to me, that it's much easier to put a great team together when you have a great core duo than it is to build from scratch, even if you're at the top of the draft order. At first, I was a bit disappointed that I was near the bottom of the order, but it didn't take me long to realize that having a great core duo was a better advantage, (love my team, though it's heavy on offense). The biggest surprise for me with the sims so far is Orlando, (Edgar's) ... I think that's a much stronger team than what's shown so far ... really thought it would be near the top.

This is the most accurate roster list I have: but there are still the odd mistake here and there

Notes

(1) Miami's bench stands out. That team is short a couple of bodies. I think Jason Smith may have been on that team.

(2) Chris Duhon or Mike Conley for the Spurs + Grizzlies. I forget the other players involved in the Tony Parker/Stephen Jackson trade.

Rosters

Atlanta Hawks - Derek Fisher, Joe Johnson, Tayshaun Prince, Josh Smith, Chris Andersen - Jordan Farmar, Mo Evans, Terrence Williams, Antoine Wright, Ryan Anderson, Jordan Hill

Boston Celtics - Rajon Rondo, Jason Richardson, Richard Jefferson, Kevin Garnett, Joel Przybilla - - Anthony Johnson, Wayne Ellington, Sam Young, JJ Hickson, Serge Ibaka

Charlotte Bobcats - Tony Parker, Mikael Pietrus, Gerald Wallace, Troy Murphy, Brendan Haywood - - Mike Conley, Eddie House, Nick Young, Mickael Pietrus, Glen Davis, Kwame Brown

Chicago Bulls - Derek Rose, Nicolas Batum, Danilo Gallinari, David Lee, Chris Kaman - Jrue Holiday, Brandon Rush, Marco Belinelli, Etan Thomas, Eddy Curry

Denver Nuggets - Chauncey Billups, Josh Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Al Harrington, Mehmet Okur - Jerryd Bayless, Devin Brown, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Vladimir Radmanovic, Ryan Hollins

Detroit Pistons - Raymond Felton, Jason Terry, Rasual Butler, Andrea Bargnani, Marcus Camby - Beno Udrih, Rodney Stuckey, Udonis Haslem, Josh Powell, Rasho Nesterovic, Kosta Koufos

Houston Rockets - Aaron Brooks, DeMar DeRozan, Corey Maggette, Paul Milsap, Emeka Okafor - Mike Bibby, Yi Jianlian, Ben Wallace

Indiana Pacers - Stephen Curry, Courtney Lee, Thaddeus Young, Lamar Odom, Nenad Krstic - JJ Barea, Shannon Brown, Chuck Hayes, Craig Smith, Zaza Pachulia

Washington Wizards - Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, Vince Carter, Andrei Kirilenko, Tyson Chandler - - Sergio Rodriguez, Willie Green, CJ Miles, Tracy McGrady, Amir Johnson, Hasheem Thabeet
Utah also has Sonny Weems and DJ White.

Not that their absense would explain why Utah isn't doing as well as I expected.  Thought they'd be a top 2-3 seed in the West, not number 6.

TP, The cats are a much stronger defensive team than they are an offensive team and early on in the season it's serving us quite well :D

Go CATS GO!

Also, the cats roster is correct. We traded Duhon in the parker deal, not conley.

TP for this whole idea man, nice to have a simulation. Mucho TP's if you upload these rosters to xbox live hehe.

Not saying your team deserves a losing records with the player it had, but I think some people may get a bit hung up on your names. While Rashard Lewis is thought of as an all star, this year he has not played like one at all. He is average under 15 points a game and shooting 43% from the field. Not horrible, but not really that far above a solid starting SF. Additionally, we all remember hamilton from the piston conference teams and being a dead eye shooter. However, he is having one of the worst shooting years of his career. Although he is still putting in a respectable 18.9 a game, guess what he is shooting from the field and 3 point land. I was shocked to see this, but its 40% from the field and 28% from the field. I was actually so shocked to see this I am gonna make a separate thread comparing hamiltons demise versus Ray Allen.

So what is cool is this actually matters. These games, assuming they are connected to xbox live update the ratings of players as the season progresses. So if the player is doing poorly, his rating will suffer. Hence, this could explain part of the reason why Orlando is doing worse then expected.
