The Bulls select their first veteran presence and the NBA's poet Laureate: Etan Thomas

Congratulations on convincing Bulls ownership to start spending some money, KC.

The envy, it burns! On the plus side, we're now over 20 Mil in total payroll.

You ever seen Canadian bills? They don't even look real. Weird colors. They've even got birds and elk on them. I might as well be playing with Monopoly money.

Don't forget the dollar coin aka the loonie.

Or the two dollar coin...called the...get this..."Toonie".

Now the three dollar coin is called the "duck billed Gretzky", but I mean..they're a strange bunch over in Canada.

New Jersey Neyts select Dorrell Wright

I like this pick a lot. Wright was on my board right behind Greene. It's a shame he's lost so much practice and court time to injuries. Still he's coming in to his own as a solid reserve 3/4.

He's kinda like the 3/4 version of Tony Allen

You know it.

I'm going to let my trade offers percolate a bit. I figure we'll probably be waiting for PosImpos next anyways.

Observation: Something, I've never seen given consideration in these fantasy drafts: familiarity. If a GM had brought back 5,6,7,8 players from his original roster, and made an argument favoring team chemistry, would anyone buy it?

I think I would. Teams rarely come together as quickly as the Championship Celtics squad.

I think it depends on the squads. Teams like Denver, San An, teams that have success and rely heavily on chemistry to make diverse talents gel...then I can see it. If I took back Chris Douglas Roberts and pled familiarity though...I doubt it would fly.

Of my guys, Prince was former teammates with Delfino and Mohammed, and current teammates with Gordon and Jerebko. [Tayshaun is my team's Kevin Bacon.]

Gordon knows Hinrich from last season. Bosh and Perkins are both native Texans, FWIW.

Yeah, that means squat.

Sorry about any confusion on the trade if it went through or the pick. I had to get my kids from daycare and was trying to do it all on the phone!!

Get your priorities in order or face losing your team. Your kids can walk home from daycare - just give them a compass and a juicebox. If they can't find their way back home at dusk, they weren't survivors to begin with.

You're welcome for the advice.
