I teetered and tottered with my beloved avatar for many moons. When I first started using old Spaulding I was barely even a regular poster on here and was just looking for something goofy for an avatar. Over the years I tried a couple of different ones briefly, but the evil clown and the moniker Redz seem to have stuck with me (neither of which have much actual meaning to me besides what has developed here on CB - which is something I suppose).
Anyhow...I was flipping around on TV and I came across the Devil's Rejects and a scene where Captain Spaulding was in bed with a prostitute, and well...I dunno...It was just gross.
It's not like I've never been aware that having a murderous, yet fictitious, clown attached to my account here wasn't a little off base, I just sort of stuck with it because it became part of the fabric. I've periodically taken some flack for having Spaulding as an avatar.
Don't get me wrong, I do love a good slasher movie, and I can separate the entertainment aspect from the aspiration to be an actual nut job, but I feel like it's time to come up with a slightly less disgusting ID.
That's a long winded way of saying, I'm looking for suggestions. I had a crazed Norse god looking guy for a while that I liked, and I also used the screamer dude from the cover of a King Krimson album for a bit.
Looking for something new. Lay em on me.
