Scal as a coach?

What do you think? I'd be shocked if he didn't have that aspiration.

My initial thought was "Nah, he'd get eaten alive, he'd have no credibility with players because he had no credibility AS a player." But do you need that to be successful? (See Carlisle among others).

No credibility as a player? Sometimes I get the feeling his teammates are the only ones that have any sort of appreciation for him at all. Their intimate understanding of the game allows them to see why Scal actually brings value to a team. Most fans just point and laugh at "that goofy-looking white guy." Just because all the fans mistakenly view him as some sort of circus act, that doesn't mean the players do.

I have no doubt at all that Scal will be a coach in some capacity in the not-too-distant future ... and he'll be much more successful than he is as a player. I truly love Scal, and he has an incredible knowldge of the game ... just don't care for him on the Parquet, dressed in green, that is. ;)
