I don't know how we are winning. Team looks awful right now.

You're a little harsh. Definitely not our greatest game of the season but not the worst too. The Raptors are so terrible defensively that little effort is enough to beat them.

+9 at halftime, hope we don't get complacent in the second half and that Turkoglu doesn't get hot.

I don't think they're awful. they've done a good job on the board and I'm very glad to see it
but there is one thing that's awful right now, they can't stop Bosh

Yeh, I don't see awful either. Weird.

Anyway, we *can* do better.

Sheed from three! He is playing very well so far.
He beats the crap out of the Raptors when he plays them for some reason.

Rajon Rondo -- 9 points + 9 assists + 6 rebounds + 2 steals at halftime

The Celtics would be lost without Rondo's superb play in the first half. Rondo is keeping their heads above water.

The Raptors a poor defensive team but a good offensive one. This leads to some ugly looking games. The C's are winning just about every box score category, with free throw makes being the exception. (Bosh making free throws kept the Raptors in the game early)

The Celtics need to defend the paint better on the pick and roll. If they can tighten that up they'll walk to a victory the way the raptors are playing.

I think we look awful but fortunately they look worse. If the Raptors think this a title contending team, they don't have a clue. I think I'd trade Bosh while I could still get even money for him. Bulls are supposedly offering Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas, and a draft pick.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

How is a bad contract, a free agent to be, and a single pick even money for a top 10 NBA player?

Good points, TP.

Raptors announcer : "This has become a good rivalry, although the Raptors have never won".

And yet another turnover...

And when the C's were up 48-44 (paraphrase): "Although the Raptors have played a bad game so far, they're only down 4!"

But in fact, the C's were up 4 in spite of having the worse game at that point.

I just want a quiet win, Rondo getting at least 4 REB / 1 AST / 1 PTS in the second half, and we can all live in love, peace and harmony. That is, until tomorrow, when I want the Hawks' beaks ripped off in Beantown!

It's really not but the only trade rumor I could think of off the top of my head. I suppose it is better than having Bosh just walk during free agency.

I'd just take the cap space over that package.

If they're trying to move Bosh I think they'll get much, much better offers.
