Looks like Vince broke something
Gas maybe, but his ankle is probably just sprained. He landed on it quite "well", for a broken one.

He always crumples like that on his ankles.

Something about how he plays, he's always messing up his ankles.

My feelings about the Raptors announcers couldn't be more well resumed (posted by a Celtic fan) :

First off I had the Toronto feed and I must say: their announcers are unbearable. Imagine a guy sounding like he's taking a **t and screaming over at someone in the other room while he's struggling on the toilet.  Sorry for the graphic description but that's what it's like listening to .  Maybe if I was a Raptors fan I'd appreciate it or at least tolerate it.  But it's god-awful as far as I'm concerned.  And he's like that the entire game.  And he doesn't handle play-by-play like a normal person for TV, but was doing it like it was on the radio.  Sort of like when Bob Costas went to the NBA on NBC and started announcing games.  We can see what 's happening jack***.

;D Right on the money, these announcers were terrible!

He plays "whilst in upright position" yeh. I think it's not the "how", but more or less some previous injury. One ankle injury will cause your erm... what're they called... ligaments? To stretch out, and thus it'll remain an 'easy' injury.

By Jove, that was a grammatically horrible bit of text.

Aye. They also called every play like it was the game-winner. But I guess that's covered in the "radio"-style comment.

They are terrible. I get them all the time (viva Canada). See it's not all quality beer and free healthcare, we also get those announcers and Celine Dion.

Blame Canada! Blame Cana-this is probably the most unoriginal reply I could muster.

Time for bed.

Toodles.

I watched the game, and I checked out the boxscore.  Great win and great team performance.  Fortunately the Raptors are not a very good team.

Let's put to rest a few things that are floating around this blog on a daily basis:

-Sheldon Williams should be getting a ton of minutes everygame.  The reality is that he is only suited to play well against a slower and less mobile frontcourt.  He should never be matched up against the likes of Bargnani or Bosh (both around 7'0").  Never!

-Glen Davis is going to take over Rasheed Wallace's spot, and even play SF.  The reality is that Davis is a good replacement for Perkins.  On the other hand, Rasheed is a good versatile replacement for both Perkins and Garnett, and it's no surprise that he had a +17 for the game (far higher than anyone else on the team).  If Davis can't remotely stay in front of Bosh, then he can't play SF.

I agree with the majority of what you're saying here, (TP), but most of the discussion I've seen has been about Big Baby taking Shelden's minutes, and vice-versa ... I don't think anyone seriously thinks that he can replace Sheed or play that position as effectively. (Gotta love Glen's energy, though ... nice to have him back).

Gotta agree here. Glen will take Sheldon's spot. remember at the beginning of the season when everyone asked how is Baby going to get any minutes because Sheed, KG and Perk would take all the minutes? Well, I think Danny constructed this front court with the distinct notion in mind that injuries would happen. Now maybe he was thinking Perk's shoulder and KG's knee and it never occurred to him that the young player getting hurt would be Baby and that Sheldon would see so much time.

But the gist of the idea has worked out. Keep KG at about 30-31 minutes, Perk at 28-30 minutes, Rasheed at 20-22 minutes and if all worked out there would be 16 MPG left over for Baby with Baby getting some extended minutes when KG went out rehabbing or resting his knee and when Perk or Rasheed got injured or needed rest. Now of course, Sheldon ended up in Davis' role once Glen broke his thumb but it's all pretty much played out as Danny had hoped.

I think with KG's injury maybe being longer than anticipated at first(hopefully the C's aren't jerking things around like last year when surgery right away may have give KG a chance at the playoffs and hopefully this isn't near anywhere as serious) Sheldom will probably keep his minutes, Rasheed will move up a slot and take KG's 30 MPG or so a night and we will be seeing Baby getting Wallace's usual minutes of 22-25 MPG. Once KG returns, everything will probably go back to the way things were originally planned to go but never had a chance to and Williams will be eating bench. Which of course will then spark the inevitable BBD vs Sheldon debates here at CB.
