i think we will see heavy minutes from Ray and rondo on friday...i can see boston working walker in against the clippers and the suns...but strictly looking at orlando...this will be tough having to depend on scal, walker and tony...

just read this from Ainge:

Ainge said Kevin Garnett (right thigh bruise) is expected to return soon, following a one-game absence. Garnett arrived with the team in Orlando Wednesday afternoon.

"I don't know when for KG," Ainge said. "He may play, but it will be a game-time decision Friday. I think he's fine -- it's not anything structural. He wanted to play (Tuesday) night but we're being cautious."

If KG is out also, I probably won't be spending a lot of time watching this game. Without KG and Pierce, it could be super ugly.

hope they find a way...will be really surprised if they do...but hey...other teams seems to have scrubs burn the C's...maybe one of ours will burn orlando

Oh, that sucks -- I don’t really care about the other games but I badly wanted to see how Boston matched up with Orlando. That game was going to be a great test for how the C’s would fare against the Magic in the postseason. Now, it’s not.

There is no other important games until Atlanta on the 8th January (then Dallas on the 18th). Hopefully, Pierce will be back for the Hawks.

If Pierce is out then they should just tell KG he's not playing. Use the opportunity to get him some extra rest rather than have Garnett come back trying to shoulder the load for his team against an extremely difficult opponent.

It doesn't matter much whether they win or lose the game. Use the opportunity to get KG some more rest.

Assuming Paul is out two weeks (current worst case scenario, cross your fingers) he would be out through the Atlanta game on 1/8.  Here's who we'd be playing sans Pierce:

12/25 Orlando
12/27 LA Clippers
12/28 Golden St
12/30 Phoenix
1/2 Toronto
1/6 Miami
1/8 Atlanta

What's your guys prediction for our record in those games?  I think we could beat the Clippers, Warriors, Raptors and Miami and lose to Orlando, Phoenix, and Atlanta.  I predict we go 4-3 until P Dubs gets back.  (I'm assuming KG is playing all of those games although that may be in jeopardy as well.)

Alright, assuming he is healthy and does play all those games what do you think our record would be?  And if he isn't, do you think we win any of those games?

i would say win win 3 or 4.  if we win 4 or 5, i would consider it a successful road trip considering the intangibles.

It's kind of sad...full strength I think we take all of those games.

NBA TV claims to have an injury update on Paul Pierce. Do you think it will just be informations we already know or a real update?

Well, it was nothing new, they basically announced all the details we already knew. 2 weeks absence, infection, fluid drained.
