recently saw Blackklansman and Jexi.

Both were much better than I expected and definitely worth the time to watch.  Main character in Jexi reminded so much this kid boarding at my in-laws place that it just added to the humor because I could picture this happening to the kid.

The Man in the High Castle is not a movie, but an interesting and different series on Prime.  I just finished the four year run and found it well worth my time.  It is an American alternate history series depicting a parallel universe where the Axis powers win World War II. The only thing I didn't like about the series was the decision not to have a fifth year.
I'm very busy doing nothing of substance!

Watched Midsommar the other night. It was decent enough, though I thought there'd be more twists/turns than there was.
Whatever crushes individuality is despotism, by whatever name it may be called and whether it professes to be enforcing the will of God or the injunctions of men.

Yes.  He was a tough character to watch.  Well played by Sandler though.

Midsommar is legit demented.

Watched "The Rental" a couple days ago. Pretty solid thriller/horror flick, it is a slow burn but was well-made.  It's also nice seeing an indie film top the charts for once.

Have you seen the other well known Safdie Brothers movie 'Good Time'? Similarly, if not more anxiety inducing.
