Horrible coaching job by Rivers, just horrible.
Yes, let's put Williams in so that he can guard Bonner on the perimeter. We can just give him the ball on the other end and let him go to work. Genius!

Williams is a solid rebounder though... guess what kept SA in this game??

If Bonner went off SA wouldn't just be in the game... they would likely be winning.

Scal over Williams made sense I thought.  But leaving Rondo out so long in the 4th was pretty bad.  We can maybe trust Eddie on Hill, but there's no way he should guard Parker for multiple possessions.

Figured Pierce would miss one as he often does in crucial situations.  Still a great sign that the C's are winning games with no contribution from their best player.  Also their horrid rebounding efforts they have been able to overcome.

Defintely things to work on though especially the rebounding.

Blair. He wasn't biased. He abused the 1st unit just as well.

If, and that's not a big "if", we win this, I think the coaching was spot on.

'cuz, We won. Best thing, in my opinion, is that the bench got burn. I like seeing the bench for longer stretches, to see how they do. Let them get real minutes, not garbage ones. I likey.

A lot of his points came off 2nd chance opportunities - he killed us on the boards. Shelden def could've helped with that.

Yeah guys poor substitutions tonight by Doc.  I still think Sheldon should have been in the game defending Blair.  At least he is a solid rebounder which the C's obviously are lacking right now.  Big Baby isn't the greatest rebounder either so him coming back won't necessarily fix the problem.

And he left Rondo on the bench for far too long.  Doc always seems to leave the subs in just long enough for the other team to make a run and get back in the game.  He needs to sense when opposing teams are coming back and change things up before it's too late.

Amazing win given how poorly they rebounded, how poorly the bench played and how bad Pierce and Allen were and the fact that they almost let a second round draft pick single handedly beat them. This win is thanks to Rondo, KG and Perk. Too bad Shelden did not play. I don't get it.

However, six in a row and 8-1 on the road is nice.

I wouldn't trust Eddie on a plank.  When he's not hitting shots, Doc needs to get him out of the game - Rondo can handle the extra minutes.

Despite the lousy rebounding, a good game in all other respects, and a solid win.  We snapped Charlotte's 4 gamer, we snap SA's 5 gamer.  Pretty good week so far.

Marv called this game way too early.  Hated to hear him taling about a C's victory when up by 5 with 15 seconds left.  If Finley stays in bounds the game would have been anything but over.

Wow..not a pretty win, but a win nonetheless. And against one of the best teams out there..on their home floor. I'll take it.
