what was impressive (other than the dunk itself, facial, and overall beastmove) was that he jumped off his right foot and dunked with his right hand.

I really mixed two topics here.  The point I should have more clearly made is that Bosh has been chirping for weeks that he gets no respect as compared to LeBron and DWade, that he's just as good, and that there are three, not two, franchise free agents on the market in 2010.

Frankly, there is only one--- LeBron.  Wade is close behind, but he's not as consistent and can be kept away from the rim by good defenses.

Meanwhile, Bosh is a distant third.  Pierce's play was just evidence of that fact.

First off- great dunk by the captain.

However-

I disagree.  To me Wade is a complete player where Lebron is still developing.  Adding Wade to a good playoff team makes them an instant contender, Lebron I'm not so sure.  In Boshy's case one could also argue that Lebaby and Wade have been favored by the refs since their entry in the league, where Bosh has had a hard road on a lackluster team.

Bosh is certainly not a game changer like Wade/bron, but in the right situation he may be more valuable by his position alone.

For instance, a team like Chicago may benefit from a solid PF more than Bron or even Wade.  Many times netting a franchise big man can change the face of your franchise. Big men are definitely valuable my man, look at what it did for Boston.

I like Bosh, and while he may rank third amongst the free agent class of this summer, getting dunked on has nothing to do with it.

Makes no sense.  Everyone get's posterized at some point.  Look at your boy Lespooninmouth this past summer.
Truuuuuuuuuth!

LeBron is much bigger and stronger than Wade.  Both players lack a good midrange pullup jumper.

As for Bosh, he's a first half player.  He tends to disappear in the second half. He's not someone I would want leading my team.

At first I thought Bosh was putting on an act after Paul posterized him, but when I saw the replay I saw that he really got nailed.  Haha, and Tommy later mentioned the Paul should have been at the line for a free throw.  What a joke... Seriously though, Paul has been dunking more than he has in years.  I guess the weight loss has him feeling good.  I like it!

PP definitely has some extra zip in his step of late.  Lets save some for Spring!

and yes, Tommy was looking a gift horse in the mouth a bit suggesting Pierce should be at the line.  What, did Bosh chest him in the knee?

The refs let it go because Bosh was in the circle.
Yup

Haha yeah Tommy is definitely ruthless about these things. I'm always simultaneously horrified and amused when there's an injured player down in the lane and he's demanding a 3 second call.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

You're a nice player Chris, but you don't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with LeBron James.

Posterized.

Didn't Lebron have something like this happen to him during the summer?

Except it was a high school player?

Amen.  Everyone gets put on a poster at some point in their career.  Anyone remember what LeBron did to KG in the playoffs a few years ago?  It's a part of the game, especially when you're a big man trying to block shots.

well, Bosh is a big man, but he doesn't try to block many shots. When you are an aggressive defender those type of things are much less likely to happen to you.

When there's such a large talent difference between players ... I think need + position go out the window.

Chicago would be better off with LeBron or Wade, than Bosh, because they're that much better than Bosh is (MVP caliber talent vs All-NBA talent).
