What about Redd and Jennings for Rondo and Ray Allen?

That would basically be Allen and Rondo for Jennings since Redd can't stay healthy...

Absolutely.  I don't know much about Jennings' defense, but he's cost-controlled, and a much better offensive player.

After 15 games of the season?  How do we know that Jennings isn't Marbury 2.0?  I haven't seen him in action, so I can't offer any criticism of his game but this seems to be a hasty conclusion.

Is this a joke?  Of course.

Nope.

Rondo's usually pretty slow in November. I think he'll pick up the pace as the season progresses. Plus, as good an offensive player Brandon Jennings is, he puts up 25+ shots per game. I don't think that'll work in our system as it's set up now.

15 games into his rookie year, posters here want to trade the guy that - a month ago -  was our PG for the next decade for him.  Wow.

I think this is why Danny got the GM gig and not us.

In the next 4 seasons, Jennings will cost $12 millions. Rondo about $35 million. No brainer.

First off, the trade is a technically fiscal impossibility.

Second, no. I haven't seen Jennings play but I still believe heavily in Rondo, regardless of his up and down start to this season and the rash of hatred coming from the fans of the Celtics placing a majority of the responsibility for this team's recent woes squarely on the shoulders of Rondo. He is part of the problem but not the problem.

If I remember right, even through the C's great start last year Rondo played rather sketchy ball for a period of about ten games after starting out good. From that point in settled into an All-Star quality caliber of basketball for the rest of the season. If history does repeat itself, Rondo's game is about to become awfully good.

TP.
I'm waiting for someone to come up with a trade that basically ships everyone out.

And honestly, Rondo was our second best player in today's game vs the Knicks (after Paul, of course). Yet, somehow the fact that we barely won is somehow his fault? Yea, sure.
