I work for a toy company and many people know about small parts warnings on toy packaging. Well, there is also a "small balls" warning.

Those two words get repeated so many times and it is physically painful to hold back the laughter every single time I hear it.

Dingleberry

not sure if it is still true but in parts of california in the 60's and 70's dingleberries were called "noomies"  & frank Zappa actually had a line in a song about someone saving his noomies in little balls upon the windowsill which meant nothing to people on the east coast--anyhow just a bit of trivia

sometimes I have to think about it or it's not so much one word as words in juxtaposition

For example I just saw the poker thread and thought "well that's kinda a funny word".

Then I realized that come to think of it many many many run of the mill er words set up perfectly for the whole "but I hardly know her" thing. I'm trying to think of me words. I think Kissime is a town

so I'm staying away from the er words now.

Olympics

Once I said to my bro I was in Such-and-such Massachussets, and he said that sounded exactly like a real MA town.

Ummmm.  College. Hmmm. University.

This thread has just opened a whole new world for me. It is just totally blowing me away.

I'm going to start to think of band names.  Smashing Pumpkins.  Nirvana.  Cranberry.

omg. Maybe every single word is funny. Single.

Help! Help!  Redz! Help! I'm in a funny vortex! Everything is changing. Pull me out! Pull me out!

Omg. Is this what Dr. Suess went through on a daily basis? My hands can touch anything but themselves. Hand. Sand. Man. Gland.

It hurts...make it stop.

Pleeeeeaaaaaseee!

1. humble
2. mother

Not the meaning, but the sound of these two words bemuses me.  I'll guess they have not changed since a caveman first said them.   ;D  For some reason Mommy or MaMa sounds much more natural to me.  How could someone have made up "humble"?
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...
