I don't understand why any talented player coming out of high school, who is a lock to play in the NBA, wouldn't want to play in Europe for a year, at the expense of going to college for a year. What do you lose? Hook ups with the girls? Partying and a little drugs? Those, in all honesty, don't seem like good reasons to go to college and pass up playing pro ball and making a million plus dollars, because we know one and done guys and even two and done guys aren't going to college for the books.
I hope Jennings has started a new trend. There is no reason for someone who wants to play basketball for a living to go to college. It's a terrible rule.
I have a sneaking suspicion there may be girls and drugs in europe as well...
Also it makes no logical sense why Jennings stock fell so low. No one should be surprised he is tearing up the league. Coming out of high school, he was the #1 prospect and he went overseas to go play in the 2nd best league in the world. By all accounts everyone was impressed by his ability, he just didnt get playing time. He dominated practice, and the one time he was matched up with Rubio, destroyed him. He really did nothing to hurt his stock, it made no sense jonny flynn and friends were getting selected over him.
Hes an athletic monster, has a jumper, ridiculous handles and an absurd amount of swagger. Hes Kenny Anderson and Steve Francis combined.
