Ya, those were some clutch air-balls.  Too bad we didn't win the lotto, eh?  ;D

So whats up with the lakers "great" bench? They have a total of 6 points right now and 3 of the 5 starters have played over 40 min. I  know Gasol is out right now but still come on

Lakers starters have had to carry all of the scoring load this year. If Fischer goes down, Farmar cannot be relied upon at the backup PG spot. Vujacic is playing like, while, a tennis star. Shannon Brown might be a decent player. I have not seen Luke Walton yet, I wonder where he went to. Perhaps he is taking over his fathers broadcasting job at ESPN and ABC.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

The Laker's bench is only considered good when they can bring Lamar Odom off of it. Otherwise its just a bunch of overpaid players with more name recognition than anything.

They do enough for the Lakers to be an elite team, but they are not a strength for them. Odom makes that entire unit go.

Becasue of one bad game? I would say the team isnt ready for the spotlight yet seeing that they didnt run one single play for the entire overtime. That last play with no time outs there wasn't even a screen set.

I just hope KD gets the chance to prove you wrong but I don't have the proof yet seeing that this year will be the first year that he and his team will have any expectations.

It wasnt just last night.  He went 3-21 against Portland the game before.  I wonder if he is feeling the pressure to perform.  If you read some of his quotes before the season started, it seems he was clearly bothered by the report that statistically, the Thunder played better without him.

Fair enough...it's something to monitor, but Im not counting him out yet for a big breakout (media attention wise since he had a phenomenal year last season).
