And for the amount of players you vote for let us know what teams you think they will make.

My vote is for 4 and think it will break down like this:

Rondo - 1st team
Garnett - 1st team
Perkins - 2nd team
Pierce - 3rd team

I'm low-balling at 2.
Garnett on 1st or 2nd and Rondo on 2nd or 3rd.

Perk and Pierce will likely be overlooked.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Just for clarification, nick, there isn't a defensive third team.

I'll say only KG and Rondo will make it (both in the first team).  Just like last year, Howard / Duncan will keep Perk off, I think.

Unfortunately, I don't think Pierce can get on the first team with Lebron in the EC. They'd never put the King below first team on anything.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

That's right that's the All-NBA team, right?

I still stand by my prediction of 4 though.

Rondo - 1st team
Garnett - 1st team
Perkins - 2nd team
Pierce - 2nd team

I like that even better.

I'd say Garnett on 1st and Rondo on 2nd. As much as I'd love to see Perk on that list, I think he's too underrated by everyone else to place.

Oh, I'm sure you're probably correct ... but it's early in the season and I have this propensity to be overly-optimistic. ;)

Or you have great future vision and picked against the grain not knowing that Lebron will be going down with a mid season, season ending injury?!?!

15.  Everyone does something good on defense every night

Seriously, we'll have at least 3.

Two players -- Garnett + Rondo -- 1st Team All Defense

I think Perkins is very close but I expect him to just miss out. As Roy said, I think Dwight and Duncan will be ahead of Perkins.

I doubt Pierce will be in the conversation. He's definitely good enough when he puts his mind to task but he doesn't go all out defensively every night. Too many nights where he's good to very good instead of excellent.

I expect the teams to be pretty similar to last season's choices.
