The Cavs wouldn't give up Hickson for Vince Carter. They're not going to give him up for Stephen Jackson.
I didn't know that NJ was demanded him for V.C.

Then they're not going to get Stephen Jackson. No way Golden State doesn't get back some young talent for him.

The Warriors have problems on the horizon. They can't get Stephen Curry + Anthony Morrow into the starting lineup and play Stephen Jackson + Monta Ellis. This is with Corey Maggette and Kelenna Azubuike already coming off the bench. Somebody is going to have to leave ... or someone with a big reputation (should be Monta) will have to be confined to a very small role.

I think the Warriors asking price -- which is outrageously / unrealistically high -- on Jackson will drop as the season goes on.

I don't think they'll be starting both Morrow/Curry. If they do they might as well start the fire sale for all their talent now....

They can't ... but they want to ... and that's a problem.

Don Nelson has been waxing lyrical about Stephen Curry's abilities. Comparing him to a young Steve Nash. Lauding his passing ability. Noting that everyone plays when he's on the floor. Noting that that does not happen when Ellis is at the point.

And Nellie absolutely loves the chemistry that Curry and Morrow have developed. The ball + player movement has been massively improved whenever these two have been on the floor together. Plus, Morrow has been their best scoring option (Maggette second) in preseason.

Don Nelson wants to play both of these players. He wants them to start and he wants them playing big minutes. And, the Warriors will be better for it.

But Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson are in the way. Nellie can't bench either one of them. Either one of them would raise hell if they have to come off the bench. Plus Maggette is already their sixth man, so there's no easy sell there either. Nellie either has to trade them or play them.

There's trouble ahead, heck it's already here, for the Warriors.

Personally, I think they should trade both Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson. I don't think either player fits into their rebuilding process anymore (Jax never did).
