  • "This is beautiful. What is that? Velvet?"
He could sell his life story to Hollywood.

We could call it, Antoine's Millions.

"What a country, America!"
"Coach you were 24 and 58 last year, why the playoff talk?"
"Well we made a couple of key trades . . . and we got The Funk."

Here's the story, people.

Walker is guilty of being a gambler AND being too generous.   If any of you would've read the entire article, you would've seen that he was giving away money out to "friends" and charities like it was going out of style.  Don't just focus on the Million-dollar rolexes part(even though that's a bit too much to swallow....lol).

The “problems” he has currently off the court DON’T involve GANGS or any other shady cr@p involving guns and everything. It is all about Money and not being able to pay it.

AW will survive. But his Basketball career is, IMO, “OFFICIALLY” Over. Especially when he serves time(which seems very possible).

That is, unless he pays off the 900k+ that is owed right now….The ball is in Toine’s court now. He’d better be thinking of his Daughter and HER FUTURE right now when he’s in that court room, ’cause she could end up being without her Father for a while.   :(

How do you make 110 million dollars throughout your NBA career, and now face debt of over 4 million dollars?

I have no sympathy for him what so ever.

I read that this amounted to about 55 million after taxes, agent fees, etc...

Studies show (I read in the same article, I think globe) that a 'star' athlete will 'burn' 2-4 million per year.  Antoine is known to have gambling issues.  he also reportedly 'took care of' a huge (70) posse consisting of family and friends.

Now, I am not saying it would be easy to do, but when you read those numbers it is atleast easier to wrap your head around it.

Lets also not forget that Antoine did A LOT of charity work and charity events, aimed at helping underprivileged youths in Chicago....he wasnt all bad.

When he had money to spare, Walker also enjoyed giving it away, particularly to children dealt bad hands in life. Raised by a single mother on Chicago’s South Side, he knew a lot about that. He established a charitable organization, The 8 Foundation, to channel his philanthropy. He arranged for Christmas gifts and courtside seats at Celtics games for underprivileged youngsters, paid for new uniforms and travel to tournaments for youth basketball teams, and conducted free basketball camps.

I will say his mom came across sounding like an idiot in that article.

Dude.   His Mom defends him and you call her an idiot for doing so?

What's wrong with you, man?  HAVE SOME RESPECT!!    >:( >:( >:(

How would you like it if someone you didn't know called *YOUR* Mom an idiot just because she defended you?

I was about to agree with you on everything you said until you added that last bit.
Mothers ALWAYS defend their children no matter what.  It's how things are.
Just like if you did something wrong, you can do no wrong in your mom's eyes.
Calling her an idiot just because she defended her son is just plain IDIOTIC on your part, man.

SHAME ON YOU!   >:(
