And I really don't see the Lakers as amazingly deep. They go one off the bench, really. They got a great six, but after that I think there's something to be desired.

Yeah.  He's avoiding the question...Tyler Hansbrough is easily 'one of the greatest' college players.  Whether or not he'll be a good NBA player (and he'll probably be at least a solid roleplayer with a decent career) has nothing to do with the answer to that question.

Obviously he was a great college player, but I just can't agree with Jackson saying he's in the discussion for best NCAA player ever. Maybe in this generation or in the last ten years, maybe. Not even close to the best ever, though.

Yup ... I'm actually not too sure about Hansbrough doing well in the NBA ... I'm afraid he's at that height and size that has a hard time finding a solid spot ... he reminds me of another UNC star, Eric Montross, who did next to nothing when he got to the NBA ... I'm afraid Tyler may be headed in the same direction, but I hope I'm wrong.

I could be wrong, but I think he's just saying "ONE of the best", not THE best, and Hansbrough is easily one of the top 20, IMHO. You can stack up his accomplishments from high school through college, and it's truly amazing.
