Is it just me or do the cavs seem like they are linked to every single name that may become available. Whether, its mid season free agents, trades, potential trades or waved guys. If they seem like they can play Cavs are linked to them. I am guessing this is going with ownership being willing to do anything and everything to keep lebron happy and to win a championship this year. However, it is starting to annoy me.

sat him down like a step child

Do step children get consistently sat down more then biological children? Also, how does this tendency hold if the step child in question has red hair?

As long as it's quantity instead of quality, who cares?  They can have all the Antonio Daniels and Moons and guys like that they want, it doesn't matter until Stern passes a new rule allowing the Cavs to play seven-on-five ball.  You don't win a title because you have great depth; you need to have a lot of guys who can play in case of injury, but ultimately it's how good the top five or six players are that matters.

The Shaq deal is more worrisome because when he's in halfway decent shape, he can still be a dominant player.  If they put together some of their pieces to go after S-Jax, that would be even more worrisome (in part because LeBron wouldn't have to defend Pierce anymore).

THOSE kinds of moves worry me, not the ones where they pick up another eighth- or ninth-man for their bench.
