You know, I hate the Lakers as much as anyone around here, but let's quit it with the homophobia, m'kay?

It's actually "Laker-phobia" ... I don't think anyone here is trying to bash gays, and it's done in fun. But if my post seemed that way, I apologize. It was a reference to the funny pic, and nothing more. ;)

Hey, when you directly infer that being gay is a bad thing, people might take offense.  You might too if you were gay.  Try inserting the word "black" into the comments you made that inspired this business and see if anyone would stand for it.

The "PC Police" line is a neat cop out, you can use it to excuse any amount of intolerance if you want...

Thanks, Ghost.  It's not just a matter of anyone being gay or not (not that it matters, but I'm not), it's a matter of having a community that's open and welcoming to everyone.

Whatever man. And for the record I have homosexual black adopted brother. So spare me the lecture. And guess what, I even talk to him too and treat him like a human being.

Stop this crap that equates black to homosexual. Last I checked Homosexuals havnt had to sit at the rear of a buss becasue of their color. Or use different restrooms. Homosexuals were not forced into slavery, you get my point. It insensitive to minorities to tell them that what gay people go through is on par with what they have. Maybe its you that need to learn some sensitivity.

It's intolerant people like you that label everyone under the sun that doesnt agree with them. Open minded only means "if you agree with us" I guess. Its the height of hypocrisy if you ask me.

If thomas had said Magic was fat, short or purple there would be some fun had. Lighten up and spare me your sermons and implied labels.

And by you're logic shouldn't we be upset at Magic for being mad at Thomas for spreading a rumor? He is taking offense to being called gay is he not? Where is the anger at Magic for being upset for being called gay?

Enough, guys.  There's no need for squabbling, and there's no need for the use of "gay" as an insult.  Please appreciate that we all have different sensitivities to these types of topics, so please tread lightly.

I don't think anything said here was way over the top but then again I don't take offence to anything really. But your right everyone needs to cool it a bit with this topic. I hope I haven't offended anyone by my posts in this thread. Well except for Artest and Kobe.  ;)
