Am I only one who thinks, before a game has even been played yet, that this team has a chance to be the best defensive squad of all time?
God bless and good night!

Health, my friend. It all depends on health. But yeah, I could see that if everyone is on board and healthy.

Truth.  I think the biggest injury liability from a defensive perspective is not KG, but Rondo.  Offensively as well.  (As was noted in the other thread).

But if we're healthy?  Oh man..

Rondo, Perk, KG, Sheed, Quis... hell, the Landlord!  Even Scal is more than serviceable defensively, in the right situation (guarding Bosh, for example).

10 more hours....  must... make.. it...
God bless and good night!

This game was awesome.  My favorite regular season KG performance to date.  He just took OVER down the stretch.

Woohoo basketball is back!
I'm looking forward to tonight. Very excited to see the Cs and mildly curious about the new-look Rockets. TP for the game thread.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Thanks, Bootsie, but guess what just popped on NBA LP's channel guide overnight night like a miracle from above?  That's right.  Red heard my prayers.

The only downer is that it's not in HD, so it must be the Rockets' broadcast, but who cares.  I am seeing it live, baby!  Woo hoo...err.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I had a power outage and was beginning to fear it would last the entire day.

Dodged a bullet 7hrs and 8 minutes to go.

Soooooooooo Close!

Yeah, one of my favorite games of the New C's Era too - it also doubled as Scot Pollard's One Shining Moment for the year.

So - this is on League Pass?  I'll have to sign up ASAP if I can catch some of this tonight.

So is this game at 7:30 eastern or later?

Comcast has it starting at 9 but the thread has 7:30 EST.

Yea, it's officially 8:30. Makes sense, it is in Texas afterall. It was originally posted as 7:30 by the Celtics website, but it's been changed since then.

Nice, if my class gets out at 9 i have an outside chance of getting the commuter home and watching the second half :D
