I do believe it is an accurate quote, as it fits what we've known about the situation over the last few years. In fact, here is something that I wrote on Monday, before this current interview with KG was done.

But from the info that we already knew, and now what KG is saying, it is feasible that KG's knee could be healthier this season than it has been since the mid 2000s. That's certainly the possibility that I choose to see with my green glasses on...
