Paul was hosting an event at Copley Square today - kicking off a foundation to fight childhood obesity. Steve Pagliuca was on hand and made a surprise appearance. Pretty cool day - I shot a story on it. - Paul said that "KG is back!" and that he "smells another banner" - and other such tidbits.  He said that him, KG, Rasheed etc. have been hitting the gym and they are all very focused to bring the title back.

In terms of how he looked, no noticeable difference to me from this year to last. He looks a little big, but I think he's always been like that. He's never been the most cut guy.

Paul showed different types of fitness to kids - even tried his hand at yoga, mixed martial arts, hip-hop dancing...etc etc. Cool to see him in a fun manner like that.

The Lil' Phunk dance team performed too. Those kids are just incredible.

It was em-ceed by Gary Tanguay (real nice guy, very friendly - I was pleasantly surprised).

Pagliuca gave me the usual mumbo jumbo - 'I have a real sense of business while the other guys are just career politicians, blah blah blah."-  but he did have a GREAT line about the event where he said something along the lines of "I sure need to get in this program."

Great report, although someone needs to tell Pags that a "real sense of business" isn't a positive, given what those with a similar sense did to the economy.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
