I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Actually it seems he won't be waived yet:

"Mark Blount will stay away from training camp after the Wolves gave his agent permission to seek a trade.

Blount, acquired from Miami in mid-August for Quentin Richardson, is due to make $7.962,500 this season in the last year of his six-year, $42 million contract. But with Minnesota in full rebuilding mode, general manager David Kahn told ESPN.com Wednesday that the club has given Blount's agent, Mark Bartlestein, permission to seek out a trade"

I must be still sleeping but if Danny wanted to free some spots and get rid of TA and JR (as it may have seemed this summer) we could also send them + Scal to Minny.

Why for Minny:

They are in rebuilding mode, they add two young wings (Big Al friend and a prospect in JR) and you can waive Scal for not much or use him to create good bench atmosphere and teach the young players there the values of teamwork

Why for Boston:

We don't play Blount (of course). We keep his massive contract for a deadline deal or simply we keep him inactive all the season (a la Tinsley). We could also get Scal back if he got waived in Minny. We get rid of Tony Allen...

Sorry, I just got up and this may make little sense...

Great idea actually. Just as other teams have done in the past, trade garbage plus a role player for a salary dumper, then resign the role player after he's waived. Of course with Tony and Scal being on their last year, it's kinda senseless besides saving us luxury tax. OR......

3 way trade. Tony Scal and Giddens to Minny
Blount to SAC  OR  to Portland
Nocioni to Boston. or Outlaw and Blake.
Can't stop, Rondo!
