thanks guys  ;D i will certainly try out your tips. my problem is money though and im on a tight budget.

where can i watch said show? i dont think they show it on tv here. hope i can find it online.

im doing my best with my dog, hes been with me for 4 months and i dont think his 6 previous owners treated him well. they said he has some bad behaviours but so far i havent seen them since after the 2nd week. thanks for helping a newbie dog owner  ;)
The Dog Whisperer can be found on the cable channel National Geographic or NatGeo. Good luck and remember, the best way to train and get trust in any dog is to walk it everyday and in a proper manner that shows you are the alpha. Do that and the rest becomes easy.

yeah, he really loves a good walk. whenever he sees me holding his leash he becomes very excited. its actually hard to put the leash sometimes because he jumps when he is excited.

I have to literally spell the word walk when Ruby is around and it's not exercise time. Hearing the word "walk" makes her go nuts ground-pounding and jumping all over me until I attach the leash to her collar and take her out.

can a vaccinated dog still acquire rabies? my friend has a lab around 20 mths old and he got bitten by it on his tummy. he said the dog didnt eat his food so he took it because there are now ants all over it. the dog snarled and tried to bite his arm. so he put the food down and scolded the dog. then he patted the dog and the dog complied. but when he started moving towards the door his dog leapt and bit him.
he was wearing a shirt but the tooth sank through. he said he felt the tooth but there was no apparent break through the skin. no blood came out, he said maybe it was just a scratch. he said he didnt want to go see the doctor for nothing because it would be a waste of money if he wasnt infected.

Really wanna get your dog or any dogs attention or just worked up.
Say "WANNA GO FOR A" and thats it. The dog will be like puddey in your hands.
