Nay. Lue is not the answer to our backup point guard problem. Unfortunately, I think Ainge and co. will consider him especially if KG backs him up.

1)Lue can be picked up midseason, if we were that desperate.

I do think Lue is an upgrade over Pruitt, but just barely - I'd rather bring in starbury or B. Jackson as others are saying and let them play through training camp to really learn the system - as a last option, Lue is ok I guess, plus apparantly he helped KG decide to come here:

http://nba.fanhouse.com/2007/08/06/tyronn-lue-helped-send-garnett-to-boston/

"Apparently, when Garnett realized he wanted to move on, he consulted with good friends Chauncey Billups and Lue about possible destinations. Boston was looking good because of Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, but there was that nagging thing about the city. According to Lue, that didn't take long to get past:
"Then, KG asked me, 'What about the city?' I said, 'You don't go out anyway, so it doesn't matter. You don't go out of the house. You could play in Alaska.' He's like, 'Yeah, you're right.'" "

I'd rather have Marbury or JWill but I wouldn't mind Lue. He's got some playoff experience and has the friendship with Garnett

KG should just write his buddy Lue a check for 500k and get this over with  ;D

Lue, Jackson, williams would all be fine. We're talking about 2nd/3rd string PG.

LOL! tp

But honestly, he could just do that and add 300k from Ray and Paul and we have a deal :P

I would be okay with a Ty Lue signing before the start of the season.

My preference would be for the Cs to trade Tony Allen for a PG, and to sign L. Hudson as the 3rd PG.

No, he re-upped with Chi-town.

Ok, thanks.
They are pretty well set at the 1,2 with Rose, Heinrich, Pargo and Hunter.
