Casperian's poll is all about players, but it allows for consideration of off-court contributions (which may be why Tommy finished 6th ahead of Pierce, Cowens, Sam Jones and others who may have been better players on the court during their time in green). Now that KC is getting a lot of noise for his coaching contributions and Ainge for his GM duties, I'm thinking that these off-court contributors should have been in the mix from the start.

So I'd like to know where people place the contributions of the two most important off-court Celtics, Walter Brown and Red Auerbach.  I won't interfere with the other poll, but I'm curious to know where they'd place.

It's pretty clear that Red is #1 above anybody. But I'm curious as to where Walter Brown would be placed. So, as Russell was the clear cut #1 in the players poll, I'd like to see people rank Red, Russell and Brown. I'll keep going down Casperian's list until I have an idea of where they're placed. Same scoring system (4-2-1).

So, don't rank other players just yet. Only Red, Russell and Brown. If Russell beats either, then we'll compare them to Bird, then Havlicek, then Cousy, and so on.

Also, any other suggestions on guys we should consider who didn't play for the Celtics but were great Celtics nonetheless? Actually, Johnny Most, I'll throw him in now. So you can rank your top 3 out of Russell, Red, Brown, Most or any other Celtic contributor never to play for the Celtics.
