Don't they have a semi-pro team at Bellvue?  That would be a good spot for him, playing close to home.

I believe his status is this...

1:Stephon knows he's not going to make that much money this year compared to his previous contracts. To make up for the short money Steph is marketing himself (Ustream/****) etc... while also marketing his "Starbury" line (He's been hinting us for a few days now on what team he's going to return to by posting the team sneaker that isn't even out yet to purchase) via the webcast.

2:Stephon will not be signed until the Daniel acquisition goes through 1st. If Daniels is not signed and traded then (highly unlikely) Marbury may return for the vets minimum.

3:Stephon will be signed if the Daniels acquistion goes through 1st by S&T, so Marbury could sign for the LLE (Which is 600k more then the vets min)

4:Stephon (although highly unlikely) may go overseas. I don't think this is even a possible move for Steph for years 2 come, because (remember he still is a business man off the court) his fan base is not yet populated internationally. Since the birth of the webcast show most of the attention, or love, or 1's Hahaha!!! he gets are U.S. base.

My 4 Cents!

If Danny is not able to find any other PGs out there to back up Rondo, I believe Ainge has no choice but to go with Marbury.

I honestly believe that Stephon Marbury will be back with the Celtics.

Lately, I've heard him say on Starburytv..

-He wants to take the year off to travel around the world and bulk up so he can have biceps the size of Lebron's.
-His first NBA choice is to sign with the C's. He loves Doc Rivers.
-First choice overseas is Italy.
-If he stays in the NBA, he'll only go to a championship contending team. He's mentioned playing behind Rondo and Tony Parker. The Lakers, he admits, doesn't want him because they don't want to change the team's chemistry (which he respects). He can't play for the Cavs because Lebron doesn't want him.
-He'll play for the Knicks only if they give him a max contract.

That's good to hear. The fact that he really doesn't mind playing as backup for Rondo. I lol'd when I read that Lebron doesn't want Marbury in his team. Man, I think Lebron has the most power over the Cavaliers than the owner. xD

Knicks will NEVER give him any contract.

Celtics would be better off with House playing PG.

Last I checked he was insane. Oh Steph, what could have been.

By the way, I wouldn't be unhappy if we re-signed him at a low price. He was fine in his role last year and performed well. I hope if we do sign him then it's soon and he can get a pre-season under his belt.

I respectfully disagree

House can't set up the offense, nor penetrate and create like Marbury can.

I'd really like to see Steph after a whole training camp on this team...

Other option is playing House and Daniels (when is he signing anyways) at the 1 and 2, gives you a nice inside out combination, and Daniels can set up the offense...

Marbury is done.  He was terrible last year.  His production was dropping before he missed a lot of time.  He showed no improvement.  No shaking off of any rust.

On top of that, he has a bad reputation (which he earned).  And now he has used the internet to expose how crazy he actually is.

Has anyone seen the video of him on TMZ in LA?  It aired last night.  He was basically playing a song on his iPod while dancing in the street and took the camera from the guy videoing him and turned it on him while he danced with the iPod.

Wow.

Marbury was still mumbling and rambling on his **** feed last night.  I think his status is "Certifiable" at this point.

People that think it would be a good idea to have him on the team haven't watched Starbury TV.
