Best player on a bad team.

1)  I will be payed like the best player
2)  There is always the chance the team improves.
3)  There is little chance I will lose my job to a 2nd round rookie.
4)  I likely will be remembered for a longer time.

and you can always be traded for salary to the good team

I've been best on worst and it sucked.  But I still have to say I'd rather play.

Best player, bad team. The individual glory, copious amounts of money, and beautiful women will have to keep me warm at night instated of that big shiny statue.

I would be like Jose Canseco. Take steroids... admit to it. Sure you lose all credibility and don't make the hall of fame. However you'll still make plenty of money and you will be remembered, even if it isn't for something good...

Completely kidding, I'm against all drugs so I wouldn't take steroids. I'd go with never making the pros but giving it my best. AAA players get some recognition, they can start successful businesses and stuff. My high school gym teacher played for the Paw Sox. Only got one at bat for the Red Sox in a spring training game and he got a base hit. He coached my high school's baseball team to 3 state titles in 5 years, and now coaches Worcester State's baseball team. He has tons of money, nice house, everything. And he can look himself in the mirror and know he did his best without cheating.

It would still be better than having a Lakers tattoo.

if the NBA had one year left -

would you rather :

1. the celtics be a veteran team as the favorites to win a championship

or

2. the celtics be a young contender with a slim chance to win the championship

In the last year of the NBAs existence?
