LeBron...unless he's facing the C's. The guy is like a video game at times.

Favorite all-time player not a C- Magic Johnson. Greatest player of all time, IMO.

I know that may be Blasphemy, but the guy was unreal and made everyone better that he played with, unlike MJ.

Unlike MJ?

Making players around him better is what you use to separate Magic from Jordan?   Thats probably Jordan's biggest advantage in any comparison.  Jordan's ability to make his teammates better allowed the bulls to get 6 rings (probably shoudlve been 8 ) with a lot of average to below average players playing prominent minutes.  Luc Longley, Will Perdue, Craig Hodges, Bill Cartwright, Bill Wennington, Kerr, BJ Armstrong, Stacey King, Scott Williams, and Jason Caffey.

And even for his solid teammates from 90-93...i wouldnt exactly call Paxson and Horace Grant, James Worthy and Michael Cooper or Byron Scott.

but to answer IP:

former c's: gomes, bowen, and al

non c's: Jared Dudley, Wade, CP3
Well said my man.  Anyone who can suggest that Jordan did NOT make his teammates better during his championship years, clearly never watched those Bulls team play a game.

And to answer the initial question:

Favorite ex-Celtic: Big Al

Favorite non-Celtic: Steve Nash

Favorite non-Celtic from the past: Tough choice between Scottie Pippen and Penny Hardaway

Nash. Pretty amazing for a guy who is small, slow and Canadian.

what's even more amazing is that he won two MVP's while only playing on one side of the ball.

I still don't think he should've ever won that award. My MVP has to at least be an AVERAGE defensive player at his position. Nash is well below average. That's the reason his immensely talented teams could never get over the hump IMO. Outrageous offensive stats just aren't enough for me.

... wow. mini anti nash rant there. sorry.

Wade and Jonny Flynn

Wade is just amazing to watch and hes not as arrogant as the likes of LeBron and Kobe.

And I have to go with the Cuse alum Flynn. He plays with the biggest heart in the game and will never back down. Watch out for the Flynn/Jefferson combo for years to come.

David West
Really? I can't stand how he pouts and starts throwing elbows when a game or ref's calls aren't going his way. He puts on his best imitation of Perk's scowl and then tries to start a fight or just swings chicken wings around like crazy.

Been a huge fan of his going back to his days at Xavier.  We're the same age and just have always been a big follower of him.
