Sorry, but I don't think he's crazy for crying about a song.  Maybe it reminds him of his father's death.  I cry every time I hear a certain song because it was playing when I found about a close relative's death. I was 11 years old when it happened and the song still haunts me to this day. I cry every time I hear it.

Oh I completely understand this, happens to me aswell. But why is the guy up at 345 just blank-staring at the laptop!

Instead of spending time on line, may be Marbury should be shooting free throws, since he shot under 50% this year.

Bird shot 500 a day, even when he was shooting over 90% from the line.  So perhaps Marbury ought to be shooting 5,000 free throws a day a day instead of shooting off his mouth.

To be fair, he only shot 13 in the regular season, so its a very small sample-size, and was 9 for 9 in the playoffs.  But you are right that a guy in his position should be working on his game, if he really wants to play in the NBA again.

I get he wants us to feel what he is feeling.  He is a person, and sometimes many people forget that.

I just wish he would show us why we would want him as a member of the celtics.  If this is gonna run 24/7, then why not show himself working out or running or getting shots up for bout 8 hours a day.

That said, he has some issues.  As long as he's still working hard, which i'm beginning to question, he is still a bargain experience point with lots of upside for this team.  I really hope he doesnt talk me out of this opinion...

Truly bizarre.  I don't think we need a guy like this on our roster.  He's not a championship player.  I'd rather have one of us from this blog backup Rondo than have Marbury do it.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Before watching 30 seconds of the feed, I thought he would be okay for the minimum. Now, I think he's better off getting some legitimate help. Even if this is an act, it's not healthy, mentally or physically. Now, I guess I understand why he tattooed his skull. I've even traded him from my 2k9 roster...

this isn't going to end good

But hasn't he always been like this? This isn't something new. It's just more public.

If we are only talking about offense, then you can say he is not an elite hall of fame offensive player, though he certainly is allstar calliber at the offensive end and makes other players better by stretching the floor and passing.  Given that much of his game is jump shooting (though jump shooting at a very high percentage), he is not the type of player that can always take over at the end of a game, but there are very few of those (and we have two in Paul and Ray).

But KG is an elite hall of fame defender, both a great one-on-one defender and a great team defender.  Further, he can defend a wide variety of players in the post and on the perimiter, which is very helpful for any team's defense.  This makes KG an elite hall of fame player (or will when retires).  This makes KG underated (not overrated).

Calling KG overrated because he is not a dominant scorer at the end of games is as silly as saying Bill Russell was overrated.  KG is actually a much better offensive player than Russell was.  And KG impacts the end of games in ways other than scoring (and he is not bad at the scoring part either).

Wrong thread?
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

Yeah he could have the cameras follow him doing something productive. It couldve started with him having a good breakfast...getting some shots up...hitting the weights...doing some sprints/drills w/e..getting treatment in the afternoon?
The fans would have liked that more and maybe he'd have some offers.

Instead he's arguing with children through a webcam and embarrassing himself.
