So if you think Daniels is a 1/2 and only a spot 3 sign Tim Thomas he is a 3/4 and can handle bigger 3's.  The next move if this one is true will be interesting aside from trying to resign Baby does DA still go for another PG another big man?  I would prefer a S&T trade too to get rid some of the dead weight.

Well, it might not be such a bad idea, I guess. He can't really shoot, and he has never played a full season but he did average 14PPG last season in his limited games. Can't possibly be worse than Tony Allen.

Sign Earl Watson, too and hopefully bring Davis back then [dang]

Watson
House
Daniels
Baby
Rasheed

Oh lordie lord that's deep.

Thanks, Rida. Just found that myself.

Still, I'll believe it when I see it. I hope it's via trade, not LLE. I still want to save that bullet.

Only reason I believe it is because Spears is an incredibly legit source and these guys are very conscience of their posts.

got very flustered when people questioned some of the stuff he was putting out on Twitter today and defended himself vehemently.

Even Simmons had a dig at him which was highly entertaining

Thank you for breaking the story. I put it on the FP. Next time you see something like this first, pop down a
fanshot, and get famous

whats a fanshot?

It's where ambitious posts go to die.

That doesn't make sense.

Dare I say it: House/Daniels/Baby/Sheed would not only be serviceable, but also one of the best benches in the entire league...

add that to the best starting 5 in the league and you get banner 18  ;D

I don't think we need a backup 1. House can fill the minutes that Rondo can't play. Rondo is good for 35 + per, Eddie can handle the other 13 per. No need to get greedy.

and daniels can bring the ball across half court and set up the play...i expect to see house play a mix of 1/2 and daniels play 2/3. Baby at the 4 and Sheed at 5. A 9 man rotation like that is something to be afraid of. teams are gonna have to pick their poison

The House-at-point-guard experiment failed miserably.  The patient has died 2 years running.  No need to repeat the mistakes of our past....again.

House can only play at the 2 guard.  That's been proven.  Daniels lets him do that, because Daniels can bring the ball up and penetrate and dish, which will collapse the defense and open up lots of shots for House and Wallace.
Folly. Persist.

Well, we need to sign Watson first... :D

But, really, I'm so satisfied with Daniels' signing, I think our biggest issue was getting a backup for PP and it seems that we have now covered this huge hole!! Man, I can't wait till the season starts... ;D

I made that very point on the first page of this thread. LOL

new look current roster

Perk
Garnett
Pierce
Allen
Rondo

Sheed
Davis
Scal
Daniels
House

Allen
Pruitt
Hudson
Giddens
Walker
or even bring Powe back in place of Pruitt of Hudson.

If we are just signing Daniels we still have the pupu platter of Scal, Tony and a young player to improve our bench even more if need be.  I would be happy with this for now and play it out during the beginning of the season and see what other improvements are needed.
