12 player min and 15 player max per team.
You can only sign one player per day (as has been the case in prior years) but can drop as many guys as needed.

Ok that answers my question. So teams that have signed someone today, can't then sign a waived player later today. Thanks.

And obviously since we have been playing by this add one per day rule this year thats fine i just think only being able to cut one a day is a better rule.

Why?  If that was the case, teams that drafted 20 players wouldn't be able cut down their roster to 15 players before the cut deadline.

Which is why I'm saving my signing for today until I see someone I can't pass on.

BTW what's the history on this. Do most owners wait until 11:58PM to waive their players?

So then dont draft 20 players.  I dont think either rule is perfect, each rule discriminates against a team either one that drafted to many or too few

Historically?  Most owners forget about this and adjust it later.

What's the punishment for not waiving in time?

Unless you drafted only 6 players, there are enough day to get your team to the league minimal of players.

I think Dons said he takes the best player off your team and gives them to the Nuggets.   ;D

You have to watch a marathon of Dice-K pitched games so that you understand the value of not taking to long to do things

But your example of the trade still holds true for instance since I have 12 guys, I couldent make a 3 for one deal today because I can only pick up one player.  I mean obviously neither rule is perfect I just think we should consider coming up with something else for next year

I preferred the idea of gerald green and marco Bellineli going to the Nuggets ;)

I have penalties in mind concerning being either under the minimum or over the maximum. Hopefull, its doesn't come to that because it will be detrimental to the team that violates it.
