Love this trade for the Bravos, getting a real SF to build around DHoward.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
You need depth, I have 11 players. I'd like to get it down to 9. 2 for 1 means you get depth and I get a better player than I currently have. Think about it.

The Boxers are now in possession of the first pick tomorrow. If there's a guy you just have to have, PM me with an offer. Wouldn't mind trading down slightly in the 8th from the 8.1. Pakage would need to include a 9th rounder.

Was the trade announced?  Or is it still pending?

It should be up.  It was part of that 3 way trade.

Agreed, Kirilenko is a wild card at this stage (can he ever regain his stud form?), but still a contributor, while Thornton gives you a solid option at the 3 for the next decade, who is getting better and will likely thrive once he's out of LA.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

The shooting at the three would normally be an issue, but Jamison can hit an outside shot and Thorton is big enough to be a power forward...its almost like they could kinda...switch during some offensive sets.

Boxers send : 9th rounder (28), 11th rounder (20), 11th rounder (21)
Boxers: receive 8th rounder (1)

Las Vegas send: 7th rounder (30)
Las Vegas receives: 9th rounder (28), 11th rounder (20), 11th rounder (21), 14th rounder (14)

Suns send: 8th rounder (1),  14th rounder (14)

Fine for the Suns if they do not want to get up early in the morning.

Boxers got a great deal.

Vegas went quantity over quality.

For the record, Suns' reasoning was that by looking at the teams that still had to pick (Bobcats, Pacers), along with Crownsy looking at trading his pick, Kyle Korver would not be there in the morning, so we stepped up and got him. 14th rounder well spent I say.

Also, we know through talking with other teams, that one of the teams that could have got him very likely would have picked him if given the chance.

We all know the 9:20 on the east coast is pretty early out there in the desert.
