Well if celticsrp33 never confirmed 100% with gaberkowitz that he would be selecting someone for him, this ruling is going to be interesting.

My thought is that if he gave him a "list", CRP33 should make the pick for him.  Kobe should belong to New Orleans.

I agree.

Gainsville - James
Rebus - DWight
GaBerkowitz - Kobe
Johnny - CP3
Bukners - Durant

Commish, please confirm this.

Well that works for you b/c you hate Kobe, but not so much for the teams behind you, which deserve to get something for the New Orleans disaster. NO can pick at the end of the round with a GM that will be present

If Kobe is on the board he is in green. So much for your theory.

Deja Vu all over again huh guys? Good morning to y'all also
Something similar happened last year, in that an early pick didn't come in on time. This is why it's a tough job to be the commish.

If you're gonna miss your picks all you *can* do though is send anotehr GM who's willing to pick for you an ordered list of who you'd take given your draft position.

the issue here is CeltcsPR sounds like he may not have gotten a list from GaB and may have selected Kobe just to take the BPA for GAB.

If that's the case, I agree that new Orleans should miss their pick. If CeltsPR got a list from GAB, then i think the pick should stand,...... just my 2cetns

Gomesfan will miss his pick at 8 too if we wait. how about Boston to 5, Toronto to 6, atlanta to 7 and then NO can pick if they're there or they go to a new GM

just give the New Orleans pick to a new GM at #30. Someone that will be here for the two weeks. Anyone interested?

agreed.
I also think that the teams who should have picked during this break should be ready with their picks immediately. After the break is over they could either use their full allotted 10 minutes each (not helpful) or just make their picks right away (very helpful).

This is what I was thinking too ;)  However it could take a while to figure out for sure if he did or did not get a list for sure.
