I can see where you are coming from with this, but I am sceptical. A lot of those shots came off uncontested pullups where he would just stare down the defender, and pull up from 12-15 feet. You don't get those shots in most college games, nevermind summer league. That being said, the two guys that intrigued me where Kevin Rogers and (you're going to laugh) Mike Sweetney for that exact role, holding off until Powe gets back. I think with Rogers smooth looking offense and decent size/D and Sweetney with his pure size and power, they could play 3-6 minutes a game (just one, obviously) until Powe gets back and buys the starters more time.
That being said, I think practices might actually be a more telling sign of what they can offer than a 30-something point blowout against a bunch of jokers. At practice, they are competeing head to head with guys that want their spot. That's where I see tempers flaring and competitive spirits coming out, not in a floor mopping against the Goron Suton all-stars (whose game I actually like).
