I'm as confused as anybody about this, but I'm assuming that he equates "little people" as people without much of a post count. I'm not real sure what the big deal is if somebody reposts something with the presupposition that there might be a similar thread elsewhere and acknowledges that fact.
Anyways, back to the lecture at hand. Sounds like the guy was just trying to drop the hint to PP that he follows the team, and PP was trying to be funny back to him. Then it sounds like that guy took it way wrong. Then PP notices the guys distaste and tries to bring levity to the situation by offering him a shot. Then it sounds like the guy is just a stodgy old man that won't take a shot w/ PP. Who wouldn't take a shot w/ PP? That is nuts. Even if you don't drink that much, take the shot and forever have the story that you were gambling and taking shots w/ PP. I would be the envy of all my friends if I had that story.
