What was the best sports game of 2009?

I voted:

1: NHL 09-Maybe I didn't log the most hours here, maybe its online play can't touch NBA 2k9's, and maybe I don't even really like hockey, but NHL 09's Be A Pro mode is by far the best sports game mode I think I've ever played. Not since Madden put together the first real comprehensive franchise mode in like 98 have I ever been this impressed with a video game mode. The hockey physics, the way they handle fights, line shifts, etc..it is all just a masterpiece.

2: NBA 2k9: They really tried to make a game that forces you to adhere to the common sense rules of basketball, and stop playing with the team with the most 3 pt shooters. The franchise mode is typically top notch. Just an all around great game.

3: NCAA Football 09: This game may be a reflection of the way I feel about the NFL, but I've found that Madden lacks soul. NCAA Football does not. NCAA football makes you have team spirit.

It may be my overbudding Canadian talent, but NHL games are always too darn easy, just like Tiger. NBA Jam needs to retro, sims aren't sims.

only played 2k9 and fifa 09 - I like Fifa more just because I play online with my brother which is fun - didn't have time for 2k9 like I have in years past, kinda sad...
