It is not on TV, it is going to be live streamed over the internet.  Jeff has already posted a couple of things about the roster and schedule on the main page, just go back a page or 2.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Interested in Robert Swift, but only because Danny's been obsessed with him for the last few years.

the guy has talent. compare his early, pre-injury season with perk's early time and you see both were developing to be good.

swift will not be the powerful force near the basket that perk is. but swift will be a much better offensive player ..... IF he recovers from his knee injury.

but still, like so many of these guys, he is real long shot.

Do you think Danny is looking for another big who will not have much of an impact this year, but has higher upside 'on the court' than Leon?

Yes, I am sure that all GM's that are in the hunt for a championship are out there wondering how they can possibly find a guy who won't contribute this coming year...

Wow, that's funny.

My point is that if he signs Wallace and BBD, then he's got a rotation of five guys already to play the four and five. A sixth big won't be playing.  But if it's someone who can develop over a year or two and pay dividends, then why not?  But the player would have to have more upside than Leon, otherwise you just resign Leon.

I am not sure he fits with this team, but you cant help pulling for Chris Lofton.
Lofton would be an amazing story if he makes this team.

For those who don't know Lofton was diagnosed with cancer before his senior season with the Vols.  He had surgery and the chemo and was unable to work out and lost 15 lbs, instead of red shirting he wanted to play his senior year.  He only told a few people and did not discuss it in public.  His numbers in his senior year were not near his junior year numbers, through it all he kept silent, making no excuses.
Every thing that I have heard about this kid impresses the hell out of me.

As far as making the team, the above poster compares his game to Eddie House which I think is a fair comparison.  I think he has more ability to drive to the basket, but like Eddie he is a 3pt specialist and does not have the skill set to be a true PG.

Thanks Chief.

When I wrote to the Magic, they  originally told me they would be streaming the games on their site.  But then on their schedule, it doesn't mention a stream.  I wrote to them again and am hoping for a reply by tomorrow.  The Celtics don't play first so there will be plenty of time to try to find the stream before the Celtics play.  If I hear anything, I'll post it here.

I am anxious to hear how Swift, Fazekas and Sweetney perform. Also, JR Giddens and Billy Walker.

I liked Fazekas as a collegian, I thought all he needed was to bulk up to be able to handle the banging and physical play. He is very skilled and I would not be opposed to him making our team.

I have not seen Swift play, but Ainge has been infatuated with him for years now. I just don't know if he will ever be counted on the stay healthy.

Sweetney is a guy that is very talented, but has no self discipline when it comes to watching his weight. BBD is at least motivated to keep hi weight under control.

I think I read where BBD has lost 25-30 lbs and is under 300, heading for 275..I think he is gearing up to be a starter for some NBA team, so I think the best case is a S&T, I don't think he wants to come back, esp. if we sign Sheed he would be the 4th big, b/c of the versatility SHeed gives us. He can play 4 or 5.

Still, having a guy like BBD gives the luxury of a very sound second unit.

Fazekas  is a guy that could be a surprise.

Swift, who knows?

Sweetney...I think DA has him pegged to replace Leon.

I guess we will see.

Thanks.  I'm working from home the next seven weeks, so my schedule's pretty flexible.  Hopefully they'll stream the games.

My connection isn't good enough to catch it streaming. Atleast highly doubt it. I wanted to see JR, Billy, and Pruitt play extended minutes live. This stinks.

The games where streamed on the Magic's website last year, so if they stream them again, they'll likely be there.

They had good commentators too, which was nice.
