I hate how real this thread is. Sheed is the only legit piece that we could add to this team. We need front court depth and no one else can bring what Sheed brings to the table.

If Wallace goes elsewhere, BBD must be resigned and we'll have to fill the gaps with cheap vets after that.

I completely disagree with the need to sign BBD in either scenario.

It's a tough call deciding between using to MLE to entice Marion or Dice at that point.

If you could get a big like Zaza with the LLE, then I might consider Marion and Zaza.

but it seems more likely that if you target Marion with the MLE that you will be looking at a guy like Wilcox with the LLE.

so then you are trying to swing for combos like:

Marion + Wilcox, Joe Smith, Rasho, etc...

Dice + Hill, Barnes, Moon, etc...

I'm not sure which way to go there. Marion could have a huge impact coming off our bench, but Dice might be the less risky move.

i've wanted marion anyways but i just don't think he'd sign here for the mid level.if we don't get rasheed we're kinda screwed. birdman is kinda awful. i love his energy but he's not even a good defensive player.

I don't think Wilcox would be a good option.  He can't play defense and he can't block a single shot.  I had him on fantasy last year for a bit and I was amazed by how little rebounds and blocks a guy that is over 6'10 gets. He's soft and it seems like all he wants to do is score.

I think we need to sign matt barnes.  I don't know why he gets no respect around the league when every year he proves to be a valuable role player.  He shoots threes, rebounds, plays good defense and always puts in the effort.  And when he was on golden state, he used to play the 4 at times and managed to do a decent job with his hustle.  He can be a james posey like player for us who can play the 3 and 4 during small ball rotations.
