From NBAdraft.net

Talented combo guard with excellent NBA potential ... Prolific scorer, (over 25 ppg) ... Has a quick first step and a killer crossover allowing him to blow by defenders and get into the paint ... Does a good job of creating baskets for himself and others ... Has precision passes for ally oops even from well beyond the three point arc ... drives exceptionally well, with defenses collapsing on him ... Has a great shot off the dribble, and is able to hit it going straight up or fading away ... Has a terrific body for a point guard with size, length and strength ... Can put points up in a hurry. Advanced mid-range game ... Shows excellent vision and passing ability ... A great defender. A bigtime ball hawk, fourth in the nation in steals ... Shows great anticipation and his quick hands and feet make him a tremendous on ball defender ... Gets good lift on his shot and shows a solid shooting form ... An excellent shooter with 3-point range and consistency on his shot. Shoots threes at a high volume and great efficiency ... His form and strength should allow him to step back 5 feet and hit the pro three with consistency in time ... His body strength allows him to finish after contact, play physical and also helps his range ... Knocks down free throws at a high percentage >80% ... Solid rebounder for his position. Plays bigger than 6-3 with his long wing span ... Unlike many prolific scorers, Hudson is unselfish getting teammates involved offensively, creating easy baskets for them ... Clutch player who comes up with big shots when his team needs them ... Highly competitive ...
Just when you think they've got the answers....

 I change the questions.

On weei this morning Holley has a guest co-host(Larry Ridley, sports reporter/writer) on who knows of L.Hudson well...watched his games in Tenn.,and stated that Hudson is a street legend in Memphis and wouldn't be surprised if he made this team.Ridley has nothing but positive things to say about Hudosn's game, calls him the "world be free"of Memphis but not high on the intelligence list as far as previous academic acheivements.

Wow! That's quite a scouting report.  I think Hudson and Walker make the team.  I think Giddens may get a spot depending on how are off season goes, but will be used primarily as trade bate before the trading deadline this year with Scal+TA.

ya i heard that too and it got me a lil excited that maybe he just slipped thru the cracks and may actually be a diamond in the rough.

The way Ridley talked about him being a legend for beating older street stars as a kid made me think of the Goat.  Maybe intelligence really was the reason Lester hadnt made it yet.
Looking for a Sig designer....obviously i will be greatful with tps.

Looking for a Wire - Rondo theme....PM with ideas and I'll tp

Truck Lewis i feel the same way..Hudson just might be a better pick than some might have thought.I hope his BBIQ is superior.

Hmm.. has academic performance ever held an athlete back if that athlete was good enough?

dont get me wrong, im not naively optimistic to think the only reason he hasnt made it is academics,,,but it makes me a lil more understanding of why we took a guy from Tenn-Martin and why he was there.

And I'm sure academic performance has held back talented enough athletes, but we never heard of them for that exact reason.  Granted athletes are usually "taking care of" because of their gifts, but that doesnt mean that some havent fallen through the cracks
