Remember when the Nets were trying to get Lebron? They were moving to Brooklyn and Lebron's buddy Jay-Z was their owner. Then we stopped hearing about this. Any chance that the Nets trade up in the draft to get another Lebron buddy, Stephon Curry and then have enough cap space to sign Lebron and Bosh next year?

Harris
Lee
Lebron
Bosh
Lopez

With Curry as the third guard would be tough. Are the Nets sleepers for Lebron?

You just cleared the pictured for me. The nets have a bright future. They have 2 outstanding player (Harris & Lopez). A lottery pick this year. Nets should improve.

The C's shouldn't make any moves until July 1st. I dont want to see any big trades. I want to see a couple additions to the bench via free agency.

Patience... more patience is needed around here

So which one of the guys traded do you want to give up Ray and Rondo?

Because that seems to be the price the Celtics would have to pay.  Expiring contract and a young talent.

Now Cleveland could be good IF Shaq stay healthy, motivated and has good chemistry with Lebron.  (not to mention find a PF that can hit an outside shot and defend the pick and roll.  Not to mention find a swingman with size that can defend)

Now Orlando could be good in the playoffs if their shooting is hot again.  Much like the great Phoenix, Dallas and Sacramento teams that have all been loaded in the past with shooters.

If Boston has healthy starters, a deeper bench (which of course helps keep healthy starters); they are the best team in the league.

This is just too funny.  When there was talk about trading one of the starting five people complained about Danny.  Now, that he hasn't traded Giddens for Kobe Bryant people are comparing him to Nero.

Good grief.  We have the 58th pick.  If the bench is as bad as some are saying, then Danny doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of players.  And then, even though this draft is viewed as one of the worst in years, people are complaining about not moving up, not doing this, not doing that.

C'mon guys, unless Danny is planning on trading one or more of the starters, then we're looking at Free Agency.  If Danny buys a pick or trades up, whomever we get isn't going to help this year anyway, which leads us back to Free Agency. So wait until Free Agency is over or largely over before complaining or congratulating Danny on the job he did or is doing.

Hopefully.

But where does Hedo go bye bye to?  If he's going to Portland...well...they could be a daunting team.  But at least they're out west and have no Finals experience if they make it there.

Hedo is cashing in on a high profile playoffs.  He was far more inconsistent this year.  He's being smart financially. He won't be able to live up to whatever hoopla is thrown his way.

Man I just noticed that the Magic gave up Courntey Lee as part of that deal...what a terrible panic move.

A friend of mine just pegged Vince Carter: 'half man, half retired.';D

rajon rondo has huge talent and also big deficiencies in his game - he is a bit unusual in that there is not a lot of middle ground in his game.

danny ainge, i believe is over-rated as our GM. he has made some solid late draft choices and really, one great trade (for kevin garnett).

his down side includes a propensity to make impulsive trades which often turn out badly and which he tries to fix with another impulsive trade. he also has changed the rebuilding plan for the Celtics several times (going young & athletic one season followed by signing veterans of questionable character the next)until he finally stumbled on a winning combination when he aquired kevin garnett.

we finally win a long-awaited 17th title and what does ainge do ?? he allows our most important bench player to sign with another team because he is worried about year 4 of a team with a three-year window to win titles ........ what conclusion did ainge make that allowed him to let james posey get away .......... the insane conclusion that tony allen could step right into the key 6th man role and replace a player full of basketball IQ, big-game savvy and intangibles that made this team better in every facet of the game.

so danny ainge is not screwing up these days ...... he's just reverting back down to his normal level of incompetence.
