I know we are all Celtics fans on here but I just wanted to take a moment to share a piece of good news coming from an NBA player. So much of the time we read about the "me first" type guys in the League who rarely give back to the community.

Well, I just wanted to post a link about his recent trip back home for those interested in reading it. It's a pretty good article about how he is honoring a local kid who was murdered.

Carl: And, technically, he's supposed to be spayed, and uh, he ain't that. I know that first hand. Go ahead, ask me how I know. Go ahead. Ask me. Ask me how I know.

Such a sad story, but great what Cook is doing to give back to the family and his community.

What a terrible story. Another DUI is responsible for a life taken way too early.
