He'll get a nice raise from some team. Not sure how much he's worth though...

Yeah we neither.. idk who is willing to pay him and how much? I still think the is a Full MLE kind of player though, but some team will give him more then that.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I think Hedo is a poor man's Paul Pierce.  He's definitely in line for a raise.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
He was [considered] the 4th best player on his team before Jameer's injury. That is typically about a $5-6 mill player. Sure he may get more and he probably deserves a bit more, but I don't see a HUGE raise in his future or anything...he has a great situation in Orlando- for his sake, I hope he doesn't screw it up (I am still confident we can beat Orlando with or without him).

I think the Magic are going to look for two teams under the cap: 1) To absorb Alston 2) To absorb Battie.

If Orlando if able to do that that can afford both Gortat and Turk.

orlando has a huge chance of losing hedo, gortat, batie and alston...they might have missed their chance...hedo is going to be a piston IMO

Gortat is gone. The Magic cannot afford to pay a backup center the amount of money he is going to command from teams wanting him via MLE.

If he had a jump shot so they could play him and Howard at the same time they'd keep him.

He would be a great 6th man for the Cs.
I'd offer him the full MLE, but he likely signs elsewhere for more $$.
